SIGNAL: BUZZ

“SIGNAL: BUZZ” is a companion installation that accompanies the single channel screening of THIS IS BUZZ. This is an experiential immersive and physical assemblage of BUZZ. It uses screens, TVs, and projectors collaging various aspects of the film and process, all being shown on a loop with sound design.

We also bring in some 80s/90s analog artifacts — vinyl, cassettes, videotape, handicams, original artwork, media and press clippings — and present an informal experiential look at what making BUZZ TV was like in 1990. Process, culture, memory and immersive analog is the thematic language. You watch, you read, you absorb.
